Inspiration has to come from somewhere.
Here is a photo we took in summer of 2011. We were in Brimfield, MA, doing the annual thrift expedition. This drawing sits in one of the best BBQ joints in the Northeast USA. Cavalier had been wanting to do a fine art piece for a while… and this sparked the start of a new idea.
Back in New York, we started concepting something great. We ended up partnering with good-friend Kelsey Dake, out of Arizona. She’s a fantastic illustrator, and used a number of techniques to create this one-of-a-kind screenprint.
